Exciting times!

Mon Sep 14, 2009, 1:28 PM
Hi, I am honored by the responses that I get on Deviantart,I really am- so many nice thoughts and so much encouragement. So thank you!
Very psyched about author Martin Dawber's "The big book of contemporary illustration" due out 21st of September. The publication has 6 of my images within the Imaginary section of the book! So thank you Martin for helping artists to get recognition for their passions of labor!Who knows one day I may fulfill my childhood dream of becoming a cover artist for Marvel!!
I'm hard at work on two movie projects in the sci-fi genre, creating conceptual work. Both are early in pre-production and have a lot of potential. I feel very lucky.
I also am working for an up and coming fantasy card game publisher, which has me working more organically as far as just painting kick ass images, more closely related to my comic style roots!
What else?! Oh yeah I just want to give out a yell to my brother Karl! He's hard at work writing his novel(so talented)and working very hard at the same time, but he never falters!Always there for me with good advice and a kick up the behind!
And a large "raspberry" goes out to my baby girl Sophie! She's so damn cute!
I'm loving Marvel's Thor at the moment and just finished "The Wonderful wizard of Oz"(Beautiful) and DC's Batman and Robin(Come on Grant Morrison we want "Superman all stars vol.2!!)!Awesome stuff! Can't wait to have more time to paint some superhero art.
Sweet! Keep getting excited about life and remember to smile,it may not seem like a cool thing to say but believe me it is!
